Weinberg family Recreation center

The Weinberg Family Recreation Center (formerly Watts Center) is home to two lighted, outdoor refrigerated skating rinks. The ice rinks operate (weather permitting) the day after Thanksgiving through February 25. This unique facility is the home of figure skating lessons, ice hockey, and recreational skating.

Inside, the newly renovated Weinberg Family Recreation Center is home to recreation activities, summer camps, and before/after-school care. The building is located on more than three acres of land at Watts Park, which includes two tennis courts, a disc golf course, and soccer fields. In the winter months, the sledding hill at Watts Park has also been a longtime favorite of Glencoe residents of all ages.

In the spring, the outdoor rinks transform into pickleball and Dek Hockey courts. Classes, open play, and leagues are available in the spring, summer, and fall months.
