SIX New Pickleball Courts at Watts
Outside of the ice season, the main rink at Watts Center will now feature six sports courts that are specifically designed for the game of pickleball.

Bluff Stabilization and Ramp Repairs
With help from the State of Illinois Boat Access Area Development (BAAD) and Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) grants, the Village of Glencoe and the Glencoe Park District will embark on a comprehensive improvement project to repair the ramp and improve bluff stabilization measures.

A healthy mind and body starts with exercise! Glencoe Park District offers a variety of fitness classes each season - from favorites like yoga and Pilates to the latest in fitness trends like rowing and paddleboard yoga. Start your fitness routine today or add in a new class or two to spice up your regular workout! Attendees must be 18 and older.
To participate in Glencoe Park District fitness classes, patrons can attend by either purchasing a punch pass, paying a drop-in fee ($22 per class), or registering in-advance. All punch cards are valid for 6 months. Seniors must be age 65 or older to receive discounted price.

Tai Chi (Taiji) is an ancient Chinese martial art that is well known for its slow, graceful movements and has been shown to reduce stress and improve balance, coordination, and many other aspects of both physical and mental wellbeing. The Tai Chi Fundamentals program was developed through collaboration between a traditional Tai Chi teacher and a physical therapist. It is designed to impart the authentic essence of traditional Tai Chi in an accessible way through stages of progressive complexity. Wear comfortable clothes with light tennis shoes or slippers. Must be able to stand for 20 minutes at a time or more. To participate, you must register for the entire session.

SUP (stand up paddle) and yoga is a fun way to challenge your practice and paddle skills. Each session will involve active paddling along with strengthening and restorative yoga postures on the board. Work on your balance and core strength as you float on Lake Michigan. No prior paddling or yoga experience is required. Basic paddling techniques will be covered and options for yoga postures will be provided. We start with a short yoga sequence on land to practice in the water. All levels are welcome. Lifejackets and Paddleboards are included.
