The Glencoe Park District offers year-round preschool and youth tennis classes, and adult lessons spring through fall. Click on the program guide to see this season's schedule.

Tennis Courts

The Glencoe Park District has five parks with tennis courts. Nets are installed seasonally, from the first Monday in March through the first Monday in December:

Reserve a Court

Courts are available daily, 7 AM-8 PM. Court reservations are accepted April 1-October 31. To make a court reservation click here. To learn more about permit requirements, contact Shannon Stevens. Users must abide by the Park District Conduct Ordinance.  

Court Permits

Residents and instructors are required to purchase a permit if they wish to teach private/semi-private lessons on Park District courts. This is limited to 3 or fewer students. The permit is $250 for the season. They must provide an approved Certificate of Insurance. Court reservations are required to guarantee court time. Permits are required April 1-October 31. Court reservations are accepted April 1-October 31. To guarantee a court time, you can make a reservation up to seven days in advance.

  • Glencoe Park District and District 35 programs
  • Advance reservation play/permitted lessons
  • Resident drop-in play
  • All other play

Please note, in order to prolong the life of the nets, all outdoor will be taken down on the first Monday of December and re-installed on the first Monday of March.

Tennis On-Demand Classes

Have a group of friends that would like to take a tennis class together? Tennis schedule doesn't work with your busy schedule? No problem! Our tennis instructors can teach private, semi-private, and family lessons at a time that works for you! To build your class, please contact Shannon Stevens.


Calling all competitive tennis players! Shoreline Tennis has team positions available for our summer leagues for men and women's teams. The women's league plays June 10-August 5 and the men's league plays June 12-August 14 (with playoffs the final week).

  • Women's B division (USTA 3.0-3.5) play Wednesday
  • Women's A division (USTA 3.5+) play Thursday
  • Men's Blue division (USTA 3.0-3.5) play Saturday
  • Men's White division (USTA 3.5-4.0) play Saturday
  • Men's Red division (USTA 4.0+) play Saturday

All courts are open daily, 7 AM to 8 PM, for drop-in play. Priority is given to Park District programs, school district programs, and court reservations/permits. Users must abide by Glencoe Park District Conduct Ordinance 700.
