Summer Camps
Registration is now open!
Are you ready for a summer of adventure? This year brings back many of your favorite activities and special events, as well as new field trips, extended day options, and multiple session options. Your child will have a fun-filled summer full of new friends, activities, and educational opportunities.
Deposit: Some camps offer a $200 non-refundable deposit at registration; the remaining balance will be billed equally on April 1 and May 1. If you register after April 1, 2024, you must pay the balance in full at registration.
Paperwork: We are using a new software solution to securely collect health and emergency contact information from camp participants. When you register for camp, expect an invitation from ePact within one business day for EACH family member that is registered for a camp program. You then simply create an ePACT account and follow the prompts. You can learn more here.
Refunds: Refunds will be issued if requested at least (7) seven days before the start date of a camp, less a service fee of 20% of your total camp cost, with a max of $200 per camp. Note: If you drop your child from a camp less than (7) seven days prior to the start date of camp, NO REFUND will be issued. Scholarship recipients must register in person. Prorating cannot be done for camps. Transferring between camps will be allowed, but only for the same number of weeks.
Vacation Rebate: The Park District will allow a one-week Vacation Rebate for any child attending a full eight-week camp. The deadline for submitting a Vacation Rebate request form is May 1, 2024. Rebates will be issued in mid-August.

Are you new to Glencoe? Looking to meet your neighbors while introducing your little one to friends? Join us each week to meet your neighbors, play at our early childhood playground, and introduce your little one to a classroom environment. Toddlers and parents/caregivers are invited to join us in spending quality time with your baby bear. We will enjoy stories, songs and sunshine with their first friends. Each week we will meet in the classroom and then finish up the class with some playground time at Takiff Center. No camp on July 4. Class that week will take place July 5. Twos and not-quite twos join the summer fun in this friendly first-camp program. Our experienced teachers keep things relaxed with careful attention and sensitivity to these first time campers. Kinder Korner Camp 908301
A high-energy camp for almost-kindergartners, Kinder Korner Camp is a great place to make friends, move muscles, and challenge imagination. Singing, games, and crafts are based on weekly themes custom-made for busy 5-year-olds. Dress up as a princess, a pirate, or an elephant every day brings a new surprise! And we don't stop there Kinder Korner Camp hits the trail with trips to the beach, walking trips to local parks, and more! Join us this summer at Glencoe Beach for ALL DAY fun and excitement on the beautiful waters of Lake Michigan! This one-of a-kind beach camp experience is sure to keep you busy on and off the water. Spend the summer learning and perfecting your kayaking, sailing, and stand-up paddle-boarding skills. Excel as a skipper on one of our Opti or RS Quba sailboats. Are you just learning to sail? We have you covered with friendly instructions on one of our Hobie Getaway Catamarans. During rough days, campers will boogie board, body surf, or play games on the beach. During each session, campers will learn water related safety lessons and receive on-water instruction. Each two-week camp section will be broken into two groups allowing our certified instructors to work closely with campers to help build their confidence and individual skill levels in sailing and other aquatic activities. All campers must wear life jackets while near or in/on the water and complete a swim check on the first day of camp! Once out on the lake, campers are supervised and assisted by lifeguard-certified instructors. It’s a FUN program and a great way to learn lifelong skills!!!

Share your love of sailing and aquatics with other campers! This hands-on program will provide you with the skills needed to be an effective leader when working with school-age children. CITs will work directly with camp staff by assisting with daily activities at Sailing and Aquatics camps. This is a truly rewarding experience for young adults interested in working with children and serving as a role model. There will be no camp Thursday, July 4.
