SIX New Pickleball Courts at Watts
Outside of the ice season, the main rink at Watts Center will now feature six sports courts that are specifically designed for the game of pickleball.

Construction Projects Start April 3
Monday marks the kick-off of several major projects, including the Retaining Wall and Ramp Repairs at Glencoe Beach, Lakefront Park Tennis and Playground renovation, and Watts Center renovation.

Bluff Stabilization and Ramp Repairs
With help from the State of Illinois Boat Access Area Development (BAAD) and Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) grants, the Village of Glencoe and the Glencoe Park District will embark on a comprehensive improvement project to repair the ramp and improve bluff stabilization measures.

Glencoe Park District was awarded a $7,250 grant to complete tree inventories and develop a management plan for its urban forest.

Glencoe Park District will be open with modified business and programming hours today, Friday, December 23, for the following programs School Day Off at Watts and Glencoe Fitness. Children's Circle, Preschool Day Off, and skating at the Watts ice rinks will be closed today.

Due to the snowfall, high winds, and low temperatures predicted this afternoon/evening, the Glencoe Park District is closing all facilities and canceling all programs starting at 1 PM today, December 22.

New Pier Coming Soon

School Day Off Programs
Registration Information
You must register at least one (1) business day in advance for School Day Off programs. No late registration will be accepted. Programs will be canceled if registration minimums are not met.
Kids Club Discount
Kids Club participants get a $5 discount when they register online. After-care until 6:30 pm is included on School Day Off programs for current Kids Club Registrants (whether they are signed up for AM or PM Kids Club).

Participants receive instruction on all major volleyball skills, including; serving passing, setting, and attacking, through fun and active drills. In addition to these fundamentals, campers are introduced to advanced skills, including offense, defense, and developing specific positions. Oh the places you'll go from Glencoe to California to Australia to France! Your child will spend this 4 day Preschool Day Off program pretending to travel from place to place learning about different cultures and the various modes of transportation we take to get there! Each day they will "travel" to a new place and earn stamps in their "passport". Your child will be excited to share their adventures with you at the end of the week! Please pack a nut and shellfish free lunch each day.
