Glencoe's Independence Day Celebration

Glencoe's Independence Day celebration will feature TWO days of fun! The celebration kicks off Sunday, July 3 with Party in the Park and fireworks. The festivities continue on July 4 with the Rotary Fun Run, Family Games, the Village Parade, and Glencoe Beach Party. Please note, Glencoe Beach will be closed on July 3 to safely prepare for the fireworks show. It will be open on July 4 for season pass holders ONLY. Keep reading for details!

Sunday, July 3

Party in the Park (6-10 PM, Sunday, July 3, Lakefront Park): We're kicking off the holiday celebration with a Party in the Park! Join us for games and inflatable fun on the tennis courts from 5 to 8 PM. Hungry? Thirsty? Our food trucks and beer/wine sales will be open from 5 to 9 PM. Food will be available for purchase from La Humita, Sausage Fest, Culinary Gangster, and Little Louies. Plus, enjoy live music and dancing with the Feel Good Party Band starting at 6 PM! FeelGood is a fun, energetic, Chicago-based tribute band. The name of the band is exactly what every show does- makes you feel good. FeelGood plays all of your favorite party jams from the '60s to today. With decades of experience, FeelGood has the perfect playlist to keep you going all night. The fun ends with Glencoe's dazzling firework spectacular with viewing from Lakefront Park. More

Fireworks (Start at 9 PM, Sunday, July 3, Lakefront Park): A dazzling fireworks display will cap off Party in the Park. More

Monday, July 4

Rotary Fun Run (8 AM, Monday, July 4, Glencoe Train Station): Start the holiday with a run through Glencoe! The race is free, but advanced registration is encouraged. The Fun Run is co-sponsored by the Glencoe Rotary Club and donations to the club are appreciated. This race is for ages 7 and up. Register

Family Games (9-11:30 AM, Monday, July 4, Kalk Park): Play wacky games and enjoy patriotic fun at Kalk Park. This event is for all ages. More

Village Parade (1 PM, Monday, July 4, Downtown Glencoe): Glencoe's annual Independence Day Parade steps off at 1 PM. For full parade details, visit the Village's website. More

Beach Party (11 AM-9 PM, Monday, July 4, Glencoe Beach): Enjoy music, food, and fun in the sun! Jukebox Heroes will be performing acoustic covers of rock, country, and pop songs from the 50's to today from 1 to 3 PM. Food will be available for purchase from Culinary Gangsters from 11 AM to 3 PM. Please note, Glencoe Beach will be closed on July 3 to safely prepare for the fireworks show. Glencoe Beach will be open on July 4, but admission is limited to season pass holders. More
