Everyone’s favorite useful engine will be visiting Glencoe! Ride the express trackless train, and enjoy railroad-themed activities. In case of inclement weather, this event will be moved indoors. Advance registration is required.
Takiff Express Train Day is part of the 4th Annual Unplug Illinois Day. On July 9, we encourage people throughout Illinois to ditch their electronic devices and "unplug" to enjoy everything that their local park, recreation, and conservation agencies have to offer.
