Back to Basics Summer Care Program Safety Protocols

  • Before the program starts, you will have a personalized Zoom call with a staff member so you can ask questions, see where your child will be, and so your child can see what the staff member will look like at drop off.

  • Drop off will be between 7-9:30 AM. Choose a drop off time that works for you! You will pull up to the entrance and a staff member will meet you outside. The staff member will check in with you and check your child’s temperature. Once your child is deemed healthy, the staff member will walk him or her to their group.

  • Once your child enters the building, they will be brought to their assigned group and wash their hands. The groups will consist of no more than 10 children and will have an assigned space with age-appropriate activities. Staff and children cannot switch between groups.

  • Staff will be wearing masks at all times.

  • Your child will have a FUN day exploring, enjoying the sunshine, and playing with friends. You will receive updates via the Brightwheel app. You may message your child’s counselors, see pictures of their day, and learn about what your child is up to via the app.

  • The counselors will fully sanitize all toys and materials used through the day.

  • Each group will have assigned materials to use outdoors on the field. Each group will spend plenty of time each day outside!

  • Pick-up will be available 4-6:30 PM. When you are ready to pick up your child, you can pull up to the entrance and a staff member will bring your child and any belongings that need to go home.

  • Our maintenance staff will be doing daily deep cleanings of the rooms we are using. They will also be disinfecting highly touched areas such as locker doors, doorknobs, and toy shelves.

  • Our maintenance team and counselors are following all CDC guidelines for a safe and fun summer.
