Moody's Affirms District's Aaa Rating
On January 31, 2025, Moody's Investors Service affirmed the rating for Glencoe Park District at Aaa, the highest available rating in Moody's rating scale. The rating was provided for the District's General Obligation Park Bonds, Series 2025, but applies to all of the District's outstanding General Obligation bonds and to the overall credit of the District.

PARK Ordinances
In order to provide safe, accessible, and entertaining parks for all, please abide by the following regulations. Failure to do so may result in expulsion, fines, and/or arrest. A complete list of park ordinances can be found here (Ordinance #700).
- While enjoying the park, please respect its use by others.
- Consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited.
- Leash and pick up after all pets.
- Pets are not permitted on the playground area or sports fields. They are not allowed on Glencoe Beach during the summer months, May 15-September 15.
- Roller blades and skateboards are not permitted on or near the playground.
- Bicycles, tricycles, scooters, or similar vehicles should not be used on the playground. Please park them in the bike rack.
- The use of low-speed electric scooters (e-scooters) on Park District property is strictly prohibited and is not an intended or permitted use of any Park District property, including but not limited to public sidewalks, trails and rights-of-way.
- Drones on park district property are not permitted.
- Parents are responsible for the supervision and conduct of their children at all times.
- Please use your discretion as to your child’s physical ability to use any of the playground equipment.
- Games and sports are allowed in designated areas only.
- Motorized vehicles left after closing will be towed at the owner’s expense.
- Loitering in the parking lot is not allowed.

- Organized league games or practices are not permitted without a permit.
- Smoking or vaping is not allowed on or within 25 feet of any playground, sports field, shelter or structure and at any outdoor special events.
- Marijuana is not permitted in the parks.
