The Glencoe Park District is updating its ADA Transition Plan for existing parks and facilities and invites people with disabilities, family members, and other interested community members to share feedback on accessibility priorities and preferences.
A community engagement meeting will be held Tuesday, October 6, 2026, from 5:00–6:30 p.m. at the Takiff Center, 999 Green Bay Road, Glencoe, IL 60022. Representatives from The W-T Group, LLC Accessibility Practice will provide an overview of ADA requirements and facilitate discussion regarding community priorities for improving access to District parks and facilities.
Those unable to attend may provide feedback through an online survey available through Friday, October 23, 2026.
