All Levels Ceramics  

All levels welcome! Whether you are a beginner or experienced potter this gives you the freedom to create custom functional or sculptural pieces. Individual instruction allows students to learn the basics of ceramics as well as refine current skills. Wheel throwing, hand-building, and surface design will be covered in class. All supplies included in the class fee. Additional open studio time is posted after the first class.  

Advanced Ceramics  

Students will build on their current skills and be encouraged to create more complex forms and develop a personal style. Individual instruction allows students to work on custom projects of their choice. This class is designed for returning students with a minimum of three years of experience; students must meet the 3-years of ceramics requirement due to the emphasis on working independently. All supplies are included in the class fee. Additional open studio time is posted after the first class.

Botanical Drawing 

Develop strong drawing skills for botanical art. In this class, students will draw live plants and from photographs. In addition, they will learn how to enhance illustrations with colored pencils, pen, ink, and watercolor. 

Drawing for Everyone

Learn the fundamental skills of composition, proportion, values, and perspective in different techniques and mediums. Individual attention received at every skill level. 

Figure Drawing

In this introductory, in-person course, students will draw the human form from live models. Each class will include a gesture drawing and a longer pose. This class is great for beginning students or for those who would like to draw or paint a live model. Price includes model fee. 

Improvisation

Perfect for the first-time actor or business professional this Improvisation class helps promote self-confidence, team work and the power of “Yes” both on stage and in life. Using theatre games based on these basic rules of improvisation, every student will get the chance to improve their communication skills, trust their instincts and, most importantly, have fun!  

The Artist’s Studio 

Using photos, still life, and your imagination, work in the drawing or painting medium of your choice in this individualized online class. Individual instruction will be given on techniques. Included in your fee is access to a digital library of recordings from the class session.

Watercolor

Students will learn the basics and explore new methods for more advanced painters. This studio class offers individual instruction, with students progressing at their own pace.
