Glencoe’s Sesquicentennial 4th of July Celebration

More activities, events, and fireworks!

Saturday, June 15, 2019

To make the 2019 4th of July festivities worthy of Glencoe’s 150th birthday celebration, the Glencoe Park District partnered with the Village of Glencoe to make this awesome annual event even bigger and better. In addition to your Fourth of July favorites like the Rotary Fun Run and Glencoe’s Got Talent, new this year, we are expanding the Parade route so that participants and on-lookers alike end at Lakefront Park. Once there, the Party in the Park will start right away, with beer and wine sales, live music, guaranteed food trucks, bounce houses, a dunk tank, contests and more. The food truck fest will feature La Comodito Pizza, Sweet Memories, Pink Taco, Chiesa's Gluten Tootin' Free Food Truck, and La Cocinita, while the beer and wine tent will feature Sam Adams beer, Truly Hard Seltzer, and Copa Di Vino wine. Souvenir reusable steins, made possible by Truly Hard Seltzer and The Boston Beer Company, will be used during the event. All drinks are $5; sales end at 9 PM. The evening will round out with a performance by Serendipity and the Blooze Brothers, followed by a special Sesquicentennial fireworks show!
