Glencoe Park District Extends Closure to April 10

Based on the rapidly evolving situation with COVID-19 the Glencoe Park District is extending the cancelation of all programs and closure of all facilities through April 10.  The closing will be re-assessed as the situation progresses.

All activities, rentals, and events are canceled until that time. This includes Children’s Circle Full Day Preschool, Kids Club, Early Learning Center Preschool, Glencoe Junior Kindergarten, Glencoe Youth Services, all special events, sporting, fitness, and enrichment classes, as well as access to open gym and Glencoe Fitness. All rentals during this time period will be canceled.

The program managers are working to finalize pro-rated credits/refunds on canceled programs and classes. Fitness Center Memberships will be put on hold.  Thank you for your patience as we work through this difficult time.

The Glencoe Park District is aware and empathetic that as our daily lives have taken a major change this past week, people still want to be in our outdoor areas such as the parks, playgrounds, and athletic fields to keep healthy.  Our parks remain open for residents to enjoy, but we kindly ask that you respect the CDC guidelines and do not create spontaneous events of 10 or more people in the parks such as playdates, pick-up games, team practices, etc... until further notice.

This is a fluid and evolving situation. The Park District will continue to provide updates as information becomes available at www.glencoeparkdistrict.com.

Remember to play while maintaining socially responsible spacing!
