Glencoe Beach
Right in your own backyard is Lake Michigan’s most beautiful spot on the North Shore – Glencoe Beach. The Beach opens for swimming and boating during Memorial Day weekend. Boating, swimming, picnicking and playing, there is lots of fun at Glencoe Beach!

Amenities
Shaded trellis for picnics and parties with a canopy for rainy days
- Expanded concession operations
- Accessible play equipment and water/sand play areas
- Sand chairs and umbrella rentals
- Kayak and sailboat rentals
- Year-round sailboat storage
- Beach cart operating weekdays from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.

Guests under one year or over 64 years, may enjoy the beach for free.


Weekday Special Group Admission
Groups of 15 or more persons completing a special group admission application may be admitted for $5 per person (adult and youth).

2009 Boating Information

Pre-Season Boating Hours
Weekends Only: Starting May 2, 2009
Hours: 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Summer Boating Hours
Daily, June 8 - September 7, 2009
Hours: Noon - 8 p.m. (weekdays); 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. (weekends)

Post-Season Boating Hours
Weekends Only: September 12 - October 11, 2009
Hours: 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
