Glencoe Biannual Community Meeting

The Glencoe Caucus Advisory Council meeting will be held at 7:30 pm in Young Auditorium at Central School on Tuesday, December 6.  Under the Caucus Plan, the Town Meeting is held every two years prior to election of Glencoe’s Village President and other elected officials (which will occur at the election next April). At the meeting, representatives from each of the Village’s elected organizations will make short “state of the Village” presentations and the Caucus Nominating Committees will present the Caucus slate of candidates for Village President and Village, Park, Library and School Board Trustees or Members. A vote will be taken to ratify the slate of candidates. Additionally, outgoing Trustees and Board Members are recognized.

Ceramics Art Fair Planned

Enjoy light refreshments as our students share their work at our first Ceramics Art Fair. Ceramic pieces from all levels, youth through adult, will be on display. All pieces will be available for purchase and all proceeds will benefit the Park District’s C.A.R.E. Scholarship. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Winter & Camp Registration Starts November 30

The Glencoe Park District's seasonal program guide is now in mailboxes! Open your copy for details on sports, special events, enrichments, fitness programs, camps, and more!  


Resident online registration for winter programs and camp starts at 7 am on Wednesday, November 30. Online registration is the BEST way to ensure your registration. Registration will also be accepted in-person when the Takiff Center opens at 8 am in the Main Lobby on Wednesday, November 30. A number will be assigned to anyone who wishes to register in-person and registration will be entered in that order. Non-resident registration will start at 8 am on Monday, December 5. 


Registration forms that are dropped-off, mailed, or faxed to the Takiff Center will be processed as time permits, and  in the order they are received. 


In order to access the online registration system, we suggest you set up a household account immediately and confirm your username/password is correct. That way, on November 30, you can log in, click on the programs you want, and confirm your registration immediately.
